21 Awesome Culinary Tattoos

Chefs are some of the most trained professionals out there, spending years perfecting their craft. Chefs work nights, weekends, and holidays in hot, hectic kitchens, proving their dedication to food and the culinary world. And, the most dedicated among them choose to mark themselves with the tools of their trade, be it a radish, a stake, a chef knife, or even a mixer, equipped with the metals bowl’s reflection.

1 Fruit n Veggie Tattoos

That garlic must be organic.

Working at the farmer’s market, with strawberries along her arm, she’s pretty much all about fresh produce.

This tattoo sleeve has been worked on for nearly two years, stemming from Andy’s (that’s Crash n Donna’s real name) step son Dylan’s belief that all vegetables are evil. The main vegetables are King Edward potato, Brussels Sprout, Carrot, Chilli and a Leek while the background consists of cabbage leaves and peas.

Food for thought?

Morgan just likes veggies.

This cupcake appears to be trying to be a bit intimidating. Beware of the spatula!

Apparently, the intimidating cupcake is a trend…

There is, indeed, a Mr Sweetpotato.

2 Kitchen Utensil Tattoos

Dabney, both a trained cook and food writer, states the tools she couldn’t live with out.

From campfire to chef toque, this chef’s got it covered.

We are in love with this tattoo. In love. Do you see that reflection on the Kitchen Aid bowl? That, to us, is pretty amazing.

Gotta say, not quite up to speed with the last kitchen aid display, but nonetheless cute that you both got the inverse of the others tattoo. But are tattoos supposed to be cute?

A chef’s knife makes the chef.

3 Meat(y) Tattoos

We’re hoping that your meat is indeed dead when you eat it, but this chef wanted to stress it.

After all, what is bacon without its grease? We think it’s the best part. Reuse it in other dishes to add some bacon-y deliriousness.

Tyler loves his bacon and wears that love on his sleeve.

While you do love you steak, you don’t like it in a 1950’s-June-Cleaver-housewife type of way. Rare perhaps?

As head to tail butchering reigns, we salute all these tasty, salted pig parts.

4 And the Rest of the Pantry Tattoos

Yum. Carbs.

So, Steve likes Warhol. A lot.

What we found most awesome about this tattoo was the salt spraying from its shaker.
